Our group head, M.-Pilar Marco, and the scientists J.-Pablo Salvador, Núria Pascual and Lluïsa Vilaplana, are attending to the biannual meeting of the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry (Real Sociedad Española de Química, RSEQ), held in this XXXVIII edition in Granada (27th-30th June).

Besides being an excellent chance for networking with prominent scientists working in chemistry-related disciplines, the senior staff of the Nb4D will take advantage of the opportunity to disseminate our research and how immunochemistry, combined with nanobiotechnology, can contribute to improve the citizens’ Health. In particular, M.-Pilar Marco will give a keynote speech entitled “Targeting Quorum Sensing for Diagnostic and Therapy of Infectious Diseases”, in the Bioanalytical Chemistry in Health and Food Safety session. On the other hand, Lluïsa Vilaplana will participate in the Chemical Tools for Chemical Biology session, with an oral communication under the title “The Use of Virulence Factor Quenching Antibodies as a New Therapeutic Strategy to Treat Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Infections”.

Both talks will take place on the 28th, the second day of the congress.
